These are the best True Wireless earbuds I’ve had the pleasure of using. In addition to the Sennheiser brand, I’ve also owned: Jabra; Powerbeats Pro; Master and Dynamic; Sony.
Sound Quality: Easily the most effective; wonder mids and highs, and a great bass that has just a little punch however doesn’t overpower — after all these do not examine to the higher-end wired cans that I additionally personal. Tech just is not there yet.
Fit: Outside of the Jabras, these match the very best in my ear. I get a good seal that gives passive noise canceling out of the beginning gate
Noise Canceling: Sony has these beat, however the ANC far superior to Master and Dynamic — probably because M & D don’t passively block noise at all
Overall: Sony and M & D give Sennheiser some competitors in the sound department, however Sennheiser is the clear winner. Sony’s sound a bit veiled and are heavier, much less comfortable within the ear. The Sonys additionally do not fit as effectively, generally speaking. The Jabra has no ANC and the sound is the second tier. The Jabra’s will sound nice to individuals who simply haven’t but heard higher. Powerbeats Pro was a rougher, much less comfortable fit and the sound to my ears was harsh and unrefined. M & D match maybe somewhat higher than the Sony’s, but the lack of fine ANC and the lack of passive noise canceling was a dealbreaker. The sound for M & D was great, but it surely didn’t have the particular “it” issue that the Sennheiser’s have.
- The sound quality is great as expected. The EQ isn’t probably the most strong but it will get the job completed in helping to achieve the sound you want.
- Improved touch controls -> you’ll be able to customise to your liking
- Battery life -> NO BATTERY DRAIN ISSUE THIS TIME AROUND!! This was an absolute dealbreaker for me with the primary edition. The case also maintains a cost despite sitting idle for prolonged intervals of time. Overall battery life GREATLY improved -> 7hrs (in comparison with 4hrs) and 21 extra hours with the case as opposed to 8hrs with the first version.
- Case design still pocket-friendly and premium feel.
- USB-C charging still present.
- Bluetooth 5.1 (future proof function)
- Still very snug. No points with them falling out. I do not use these for working out so I cannot communicate to that. Galaxy buds plus are used for that.
- At 300 bucks it’s ridiculous that you can’t use the earbuds independently. You can only use the fitting earbud by itself.
- No wireless charging – truthfully not that big of a deal. Again, for 300 bucks I might think they may throw that in especially since it was not a characteristic of the primary edition.
Overall they made various great enhancements. Very pleased with the purchase. Highly beneficial!
