The NexPad accepts video input from HDMI and USB-C video out sources, meaning it is compatible with mobile phones, computers, and even gaming consoles that support these inputs. However, the device was optimized for mobile phones with its lightweight design, touchscreen functions, and its unique magnet-mounted frame. The device comes with a strong magnet that can be placed within a phone case and attached to the monitor, securing the phone in place.
One of the most notable applications of the NexPad comes into play when it is paired with a mobile phone that supports ‘desktop mode,’ such as a Samsung or Motorola flagship smartphone. This mode essentially transforms the display of the phone from a mobile display to one that more closely resembles a Windows operating system.
