Bose Soundtouch 20 Remote – Works great. I pre-mapped my favorite Spotify stations to the button on the top, and turning on some music is as easy and hitting one button.
I connected it to my iPhone X, and whenever I press the “Bluetooth/Aux” button on my Soundtouch, it searches for and robotically connects to my telephone. I can easily turn on a Podcast this manner.
I use this as a single unit and did not need to be pressured into filling my house with the same brand of speaker for it to work properly (Looking at you, Sonos).
For this to work, you do have to download the Bose SoundTouch App. I do not use it to regulate the speaker, however it is required to set it up.
This speaker is crisp, clear, and has nice bass. I really like that this technique grows with me since I should purchase extra speakers within the SoundTouch family to add to every room. Although this one speaker is plenty sound for all of the rooms of an condo. It’s constructed very nicely, extraordinarily sturdy, and seems to be able to take a number of drops!
